2 Chicken Breasts
1 cup All-Purpose Flour
1/4 cup Cornstarch
1 cup Buttermilk
1 Egg
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
2 tsp Garlic Powder
2 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp Kosher Salt
1 tsp Cracked Black Pepper
Cooking Spray (Olive or Avocado Oil)


Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry and slice them into even-sized cutlets
  2. Set up a dredging station with three bowls: flour mixed with cornstarch and half the spices, buttermilk mixed with egg, and reserved flour with remaining spices
  3. Coat each piece of chicken in the dry mix, then the buttermilk, and finally in the second flour mixture
  4. Let the coated chicken rest for 5 to 10 minutes on a wire rack
  5. Preheat the Air Fryer to 390°F (200°C)
  6. Place the chicken in the basket in a single layer and spray with cooking oil
  7. Cook for 8 minutes, flip carefully, spray again, and cook for an additional 6 to 8 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C)
  8. Allow the chicken to rest for 3 minutes before serving
