Description
This chili cheese dog casserole is fully loaded with beefy chili, melty cheddar, and classic hot dogs. It’s easy, comforting, and made for busy nights.
Ingredients
1 ½ lb ground beef
1 (15 oz) can kidney beans
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1 packet (1.25 oz) chili seasoning mix
½ cup water
10–12 hot dogs
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned. Drain excess fat.
3. Add beans, tomato sauce, chili seasoning, and water. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.
4. Pour chili mixture into baking dish and nestle in hot dogs.
5. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes or until bubbly.
7. Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use turkey or veggie dogs for a twist.
Add jalapeños for a spicy version.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.
