Ingredients

2 cups Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips or Chopped Dark Chocolate Bars (at least 60% cacao)


Instructions

  1. Cream the softened butter, dark brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until pale and fluffy
  2. Add the organic eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Then add the Madagascar vanilla extract
  3. Sift together the flour, baking soda, and sea salt in a separate bowl
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
  6. Chill the dough for at least thirty minutes
  7. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake the cookies for 9 to 11 minutes until the edges are golde

Notes

For a chewier cookie, use more brown sugar than white sugar.

Ensure to chill the dough to prevent cookies from spreading too thin.
