Description

This Florida Shrimp Pie recipe brings the flavors of the coast to your table, with creamy shrimp filling, a flaky crust, and a little kick from pepper Jack cheese. It’s perfect for family dinners or when you’re looking to impress guests with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale

1 frozen deep-dish pie crust (~12 oz)

1/2 cup chive-and-onion cream cheese

4 large eggs

12 oz cooked, peeled, deveined shrimp, coarsely chopped

1/2 cup shredded pepper Jack cheese

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Thaw the frozen pie crust for 5-10 minutes.

2. Mix the filling: Beat the eggs in a large bowl until smooth. Add the chive-and-onion cream cheese and stir until combined. Fold in the chopped shrimp and pepper Jack cheese.

3. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust and spread evenly with a spatula.

4. Bake the pie on the middle rack for 35-40 minutes, or until the filling is golden and set.

5. Allow the pie to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
