1 tablespoon Avocado Oil
3 sprigs Fresh Rosemary
3 sprigs Fresh Thyme
Sea Salt to taste
Cracked Black Pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Remove steaks from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for 30-45 minutes
  2. Pat the steaks dry and season generously with sea salt and cracked black pepper
  3. Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat and add avocado oil until shimmering
  4. Place the steaks in the hot pan and sear for 3-4 minutes until a golden-brown crust forms
  5. Flip the steaks, reduce heat to medium-high, and add butter, smashed garlic, and herbs to the pa
  6. Baste the steaks with the melted butter for another 3-5 minutes, checking doneness with a meat thermometer
  7. Remove from heat, pour remaining garlic butter over the steaks, and let rest for 8-10 minutes before serving
