Description

Grilled Lemon Garlic Fish is a sensory journey back to a seaside taverna, featuring flakey fish marinated in a vibrant mix of lemon, garlic, and herbs, cooked over an open flame for a smoky flavor.

1.5 lbs Fresh White Fish Fillets
1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
3 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
1 teaspoon Lemon Zest
4 cloves Fresh Garlic
1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
Sea Salt & Black Pepper to Taste
2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley


Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, oregano, and red pepper flakes to create the marinade
  2. Place the fish fillets in a shallow dish and cover with two-thirds of the marinade for 15-20 minutes
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates
  4. Grill the fish for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through and flaky, brushing with remaining marinade in the last two minutes
  5. Let the fish rest for 2 minutes before garnishing with parsley and serving

Ensure to pat the fish dry before marinating for better flavor adherence.

Use a digital meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 145°F.
