Description
This Grilled Lemon Garlic Salmon captures the Mediterranean essence perfectly, blending citrus brightness with the deep, savory hum of roasted garlic. Grilling transforms the salmon's natural oils into a buttery texture, providing a smoky char on the outside and a tender, flaky interior that sings with freshness.
Ingredients
4 fillets Salmon (approx. 6 oz each)
3 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
4 cloves Fresh Garlic
1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley
1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
4–6 slices Lemo
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, roughly 375-400 degrees Fahrenheit
- In a small bowl, whisk together the extra virgin olive oil, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and chopped parsley
- Pat the salmon fillets dry. Brush both sides of the fillets generously with the lemon garlic mixture
- Place the salmon fillets on the grill, skin-side down first, and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes
- Carefully flip the salmon and grill for another 3 to 4 minutes, adding lemon slices to char them
- Once the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit, remove the fish from the heat and let it rest for 2 to 3 minutes before serving
Notes
Always pat the salmon dry for a good sear.
Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
