Ingredients
1 lb Ground Beef
1 tbsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Ground Cumi
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/4 tsp Dried Oregano
1/2 cup Beef Broth
8–10 units Tortillas
Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef and break it apart, cooking until no longer pink
- Drain excess fat from the skillet, leaving a tiny bit for flavor
- Reduce heat to medium and sprinkle chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper over the meat. Stir well
- Pour in the beef broth and let it simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened
- While the meat simmers, char the tortillas for 30 seconds per side
- Spoon seasoned meat into tortillas and top with fresh garnishes
Notes
Use room temperature meat for even cooking.
Toast the spices briefly in the dry meat before adding broth for deeper flavor.
Balance the soft meat with something crunchy.
