Ingredients
4 (6-oz) fillets Salmo
3 Tablespoons Raw Honey
4 Cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
2 Tablespoons Tamari or Coconut Aminos
1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Sea Salt & Black Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Remove the salmon fillets from the refrigerator about 15 minutes before cooking. Pat them completely dry with a paper towel and season with sea salt and black pepper
- In a small bowl, combine the raw honey, minced garlic, lemon juice, and tamari. Whisk until fully incorporated
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once shimmering, place the salmon fillets skin-side up in the pan. Sear for about 3 to 4 minutes until golden-brow
- Carefully flip the fillets and reduce heat to medium. Pour the honey garlic mixture around the salmo
- Baste the salmon with the sauce continuously as it thickens over the next 3 to 5 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh lemon slices or chopped green onions. Serve immediately
Notes
For best results, use wild-caught Alaskan salmon and fresh ingredients.
If baking, place salmon on a parchment-lined sheet pan, pour the glaze over, and bake at 400°F for 12 to 15 minutes.
