1/2 cup Warm Water
2.25 tsp Active Dry Yeast
1 cup Warm Milk (Whole)

  1. In a small bowl, combine the warm water with a teaspoon of honey and stir in the yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy
  2. In a large bowl, mix the warm milk, remaining honey, melted butter, salt, and egg until combined

  6. Punch down the dough and divide it into 15-18 pieces. Shape into balls and place in a greased baking pa
  7. Cover and let the rolls rise for another 45-60 minutes until puffy and touching
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for 18-22 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 190°F
  9. Brush with honey butter glaze immediately after removing from the ove

Notes

For a lighter version, use unsweetened almond milk. For added fiber, substitute part of the flour with white whole wheat flour.
