Ingredients
2 lbs Beef Flank Steak
1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
4–5 cloves Garlic Cloves, minced
1 tablespoon Fresh Rosemary, chopped
1 tablespoon Fresh Oregano, chopped
2 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
Sea Salt and Black Pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium-sized glass bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, rosemary, and oregano
- Place your steak in a resealable bag or a shallow glass dish. Pour the marinade over the meat, ensuring it is fully coated
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably 6 to 8 hours
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400-450 degrees Fahrenheit)
- Remove the steak from the marinade and let excess liquid drip off. Season with sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper
- Grill steak for about 5 to 6 minutes per side for medium-rare, aiming for an internal temperature of 135 degrees Fahrenheit
- Transfer the steak to a cutting board, tent with aluminum foil, and let it rest for 10 minutes
- Slice against the grain into thin strips and serve
