Instructions

  1. Prepare the Aromatics: Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add two tablespoons of the butter. Once melted, toss in your minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant but not browned
  2. Create the Sauce Base: Pour in the Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, Creole seasoning, black pepper, and dried thyme. Whisk these ingredients together and let the mixture simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until it slightly thickens
  3. Cook the Shrimp: Add your shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 2 minutes per side until they turn pink and opaque
  4. Emulsify the Sauce: Reduce the heat to low and add the remaining cold, cubed butter one piece at a time, whisking constantly to create a thick, velvety emulsio
  5. Final Toss: Once all the butter has melted and the sauce looks glossy, remove the pan from the heat and toss the shrimp to coat in the sauce

Notes

Use cold butter for emulsification to avoid separation.

Choose 'Jumbo' or 'Extra Large' shrimp for best results.
