Description

Oven Baked BBQ Ribs deliver a classic, smoky flavor without the need for an expensive outdoor grill or smoker, achieving fall-off-the-bone tenderness and a caramelized glaze.

Ingredients

Scale

2 full racks Baby Back Pork Ribs
1/4 cup Brown Sugar (or Coconut Sugar)
2 tablespoons Smoked Paprika
1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 tablespoon Onion Powder
1 teaspoon Ground Mustard
1 teaspoon Sea Salt
1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
1 cup BBQ Sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 275°F (135°C)
  2. Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs
  3. Mix the dry rub ingredients in a small bowl and apply generously to both sides of the ribs
  4. Wrap each rack of ribs tightly in heavy-duty aluminum foil
  5. Place the wrapped ribs on a baking sheet and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours
  6. Remove ribs from the oven, open foil, and increase oven temperature to 425°F (220°C)
  7. Brush BBQ sauce over the ribs and return to the oven for 5 to 10 minutes
  8. Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing

Notes

Ensure to remove the membrane for better seasoning penetration.
