Ingredients
1 large loaf Sourdough or Sprouted Grain Bread
8 large Pasture-Raised Eggs
2 cups Unsweetened Almond or Oat Milk
1/3 cup Pure Maple Syrup
1 tablespoon Ceylon Cinnamo
1 tablespoon Pure Vanilla Extract
1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
1 tablespoon Unsalted Grass-Fed Butter (for greasing)
Instructions
- Cut the loaf of bread into uniform one-inch cubes. Optional: lightly toast in a 350-degree oven for 10 minutes
- Generously grease the interior of your slow cooker with grass-fed butter or coconut oil
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, plant-based milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and sea salt
- Place the bread cubes into the slow cooker. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and gently press it dow
- Optional: Let the mixture sit for about 20 minutes
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on Low for 4 to 5 hours or on High for 2 to 2.5 hours
- Turn off the heat and let the casserole rest for 10 minutes with the lid off before serving

For gluten-free, substitute the bread for your favorite sturdy gluten-free bread.
