Ingredients

15 oz Canned Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans)
2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Avocado Oil
1 Teaspoon Ground Cumi
1 Teaspoon Smoked Paprika
1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/4 Teaspoon Ground Turmeric
Sea Salt to Taste
1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper (Optional)
Instructions
- Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas under cold water
- Dry the chickpeas thoroughly using a towel
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and dry roast the chickpeas for 15 minutes
- Remove from oven, drizzle oil and sprinkle spices over chickpeas, then toss to coat
- Return to the oven and roast for another 15 to 20 minutes, shaking halfway
- Sprinkle with sea salt while hot and allow to cool for 10 minutes
Notes
Ensure chickpeas are completely dry for maximum crunch.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
