Description

A refreshing Strawberry Banana Smoothie made with whole, unprocessed ingredients that offer a nutrient-dense and balanced option for breakfast or post-workout recovery.


Ingredients

1.5 cups Frozen Organic Strawberries
1 medium Ripe Banana (Frozen)
1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
1/2 cup Greek Yogurt or Coconut Yogurt
1 tablespoon Chia Seeds or Ground Flax
1/2 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract


Instructions

  1. Pour one cup of unsweetened almond milk into your blender canister
  2. Spoon in your Greek yogurt or plant-based alternative
  3. Add your chia seeds, flaxseeds, and vanilla extract
  4. Layer the frozen strawberries and the frozen banana pieces into the blender
  5. Secure the lid and start the blender on the lowest speed, gradually increasing to high power. Blend for 45 to 60 seconds until uniform and silky
  6. Check the consistency. If it is too thick, add a splash more milk and pulse. Pour into a chilled glass and enjoy immediately

Notes

For a thinner smoothie, increase the almond milk. For a thicker consistency, reduce the liquid.

If you have leftovers, store in a glass mason jar in the refrigerator for no more than 24 hours.
