Soft, chewy, and full of strawberry flavor, these easy-to-make Strawberry Kiss Cookies feature a sugar-coated cookie with a chocolate Hershey’s Kiss in the center—perfect for Valentine’s Day or gifting!
Ingredients
– 1 box (16 oz) strawberry cake mix
– 4 oz cream cheese, softened
– 1 large egg
– ¼ cup vegetable oil
– 1 tbsp milk
– ½ cup granulated sugar (for rolling)
– 18 Hershey’s Strawberry Ice Cream Cone Kisses
Instructions
1. Preheat & Prepare: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, egg, vegetable oil, and milk until smooth.
3. Add Cake Mix: Slowly add strawberry cake mix and mix until a soft dough forms. Chill if needed.
4. Shape & Coat: Scoop dough into balls (1.5 tbsp each) and roll in granulated sugar.
5. Bake: Place on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes until set but soft.
6. Add Hershey’s Kiss: Immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie.
7. Cool & Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Enjoy!
Notes
– For softer cookies, slightly underbake them.
– To prevent spreading, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
– Experiment with flavors: Try red velvet, lemon, or chocolate cake mix instead of strawberry.
