Ingredients
1 lb pizza dough (homemade or store‑bought)
6–7 sticks string cheese, unwrapped
½ cup pizza sauce
1½ cups shredded mozzarella
20 slices pepperoni
1 tbsp olive oil
Optional: Italian seasoning or dried oregano
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 475 °F with stone or pan.
2. Stretch dough into 12″ circle.
3. Lay string cheese sticks around edge; fold dough over and pinch to seal.
4. Brush crust with olive oil.
5. Spread sauce, sprinkle mozzarella, layer pepperoni.
6. Bake 12–15 minutes until golden.
7. Rest 2–3 minutes, then slice and serve warm.
Notes
Make sure dough is at room temperature to stretch and seal crust well.
For a herby crust, brush folded edges with garlic butter and sprinkle Italian seasoning.
Store leftovers chilled and reheat in oven or skillet for best texture.
