This homemade Taco Bell Beefy Melt Burrito brings all the cheesy, beefy flavors you love into your own kitchen. Perfect for a quick dinner that’s better than takeout!
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning mix
½ cup water
2 cups cooked white rice
1 cup nacho cheese sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup sour cream
½ cup chipotle sauce or spicy ranch
Large flour tortillas (burrito size)
Optional toppings: chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce, jalapeños
Instructions
1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet until fully cooked, crumbling it as it cooks.
2. Drain any excess grease.
3. Add taco seasoning and water, simmer for 5 minutes.
4. Warm tortillas in microwave or skillet.
5. Spread nacho cheese sauce down the center of each tortilla.
6. Top with seasoned beef.
7. Add white rice and shredded cheddar cheese.
8. Drizzle with sour cream and chipotle sauce.
9. Fold and roll the burrito tightly.
10. Optional: crisp burritos in a hot skillet for 1-2 minutes.
Notes
Use ground turkey for a lighter version.
Swap rice for cilantro-lime rice for extra flavor.
Freeze assembled burritos for up to 2 months for a quick meal later.
