Instructions
- Melt butter and chocolate together in a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.
- In a large bowl, whisk eggs and sugars until light and creamy.
- Add vanilla extract and salt, then pour in the melted chocolate mixture.
- Sift in the flour and cocoa powder, folding gently to maintain an airy texture.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Pour batter into the pan, spreading evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting into heart shapes using a cookie cutter.
- Decorate with frosting, powdered sugar, or sprinkles.
